Tenor Eric Ferring, a native of Dubuque, Iowa, graduated magna cum laude from Drake University in 2014 with his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and The Boston Conservatory in 2016 with his Master of Music in Opera Performance under the tutelage of Dr. Rebecca Folsom.

Rising young soprano Madison Leonard is a 2018 winner of the Metropolitan National Council Auditions, at which she sang arias from Rigoletto and Hänsel und Gretel with Bertrand de Billy conducting. She will debut Gilda in the 19/20 season, first at Seattle Opera and then at Austin Opera. She will also appear as the title role in Tobias Picker’s Emmeline with Tulsa Opera. This season she made her house debut in Seattle as Chrisann Brennan in The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, returning there to sing Frasquita in Carmen along with returns to the Florida Orchestra and her hometown company, Inland Northwest Opera in Idaho.

Praised by the Washington Post as having a voice of “unearthly power,” The Houston Press as being a “blow away singer,” and the San Jose Mercury News as a “natural comic actor,” American bass, Nathan Stark, has performed on operatic, concert and recital stages throughout the United States, Europe and China.

Ben Gulley, operatic tenor and cultural entrepreneur, has won awards and competitions throughout the nation for his singular blend of talents (Metropolitan Opera’s National Council District & Regional Competition, Richard Tucker Foundation, Gerda Lissner Foundation) and been featured with symphonies, theaters and opera companies around the globe.
