Yun-Ting Kuo has been appointed as the Principal Violist with the Jacksonville Symphony starting from the 2023/24 Season. Originally from Taiwan, she recently received a Graduate Performance Diploma and a Master of Music from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, studying under Choong-Jin Chang and Victoria Chiang. Additionally, she holds a Joint Bachelor of Music degree from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore and the Peabody Institute.
As a dynamic violist, Kuo has played with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the Korean National Symphony Orchestra Academy and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Academy. She further enriched her musical journey by serving as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival in 2018 and 2019, as well as the Tanglewood Music Center in 2023.
