Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts

Security Protocols

Please budget extra time when planning your Symphony experience. SMG Jacksonville, the managing company of the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts, has increased security protocols for those entering the building.
All patrons entering the Times-Union Center carrying bags will need to have their bags checked at the tables set up outside the building.
Wanding/metal detectors will be included in the entry bag check when events in the Moran Theater require additional security measures. Thank you for your cooperation.

Parking

The Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts is within easy walking distance of several convenient parking locations. Directly across Water Street is an open-air parking lot that is ideal for Symphony patrons. The cross-walk from the lot to the building entrance is manned by Jacksonville police before and after concerts to ensure your comfort and safety crossing the street. Enclosed Parking Garages are located directly behind the open-air lot with an entrance on Pearl Street and one block away on Hogan Street. Both are manned before and after concerts and are easy walking distance to the Times-Union Center.

Disabled Parking is free. This lot is located on Pearl Street directly in front of the CSX Building. You must have a valid concert ticket for that evening’s performance and a handicapped license plate or hanging decal. For additional information please call Patron Services at 904-354-5547.

Valet Parking will now be offered for all evening main-stage performances including Masterworks, Pops and Special Events, as well as, Sunday Matinee concerts (Symphony in 60 and JSYO concerts are excluded). Parking Management Services, Inc. will provide elite valet service in the back of the building for our VIP patrons (including $5,000+ donors). They will also provide valet parking vouchers sold through the Patron Services Office for $20 or as a drive-up service when capacity allows. These vouchers can be redeemed in the front of the building.

Subscribers to Masterworks, Pops, Passport or Family Series can purchase series parking vouchers (booklet of 12 passes) for the One Enterprise Center Garage (directly behind the open-air lot with an entrance on Pearl Street) for $45 for the entire season. Discounted single ticket parking is also available in advance for $6 through Patron Services or on www.jaxsymphony.org.
