Update

September 3, 2021

To Our Valued Patrons,

With the start of the 2021/22 season fast approaching, I find myself looking back on all we accomplished together during the 2020/21 season. As one of the only orchestras performing throughout the country, the Jacksonville Symphony successfully performed over 70 live performances in Jacoby Symphony Hall!

I know I speak for the entire organization when I express my gratitude to you, our friends and patrons, for your continued support during these trying times. It is your love of live, symphonic music that has allowed the Symphony to safely overcome the challenges of COVID-19. Last season we learned that by working together and embracing necessary health and safety protocols, we were able to safely experience the joy of symphonic music together.

With this is in mind, we want to inform you of the safety protocols that will be in place when we return to Jacoby Symphony Hall in the fall. The Jacksonville Symphony will require the use of masks while in the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. Additionally, our staff, musicians, and volunteers are required to be vaccinated by the start of the season. While patrons are not required to be vaccinated, it is strongly encouraged. Of course, we hope that these measures will not be necessary for the entirety of the 2021/22 season.

Our goal is to ensure that you enjoy every aspect of your experience with the Symphony. If you are uncomfortable with any of these policies, we want to make sure you receive the full value of your tickets and are providing four options for you to choose from:
  • Exchange your tickets for concerts that are later in the season with the hope that we will be able to remove the mandate;
  • Vouchers to future Symphony concerts in the value equal to that of your tickets;
  • A full refund for the value of your tickets;
  • The ability to donate the value of your tickets back to the Jacksonville Symphony
For more information, please contact the Box Office at 904.354.5547 or boxoffice@jaxsymphony.org.

Again, I want to express my personal thanks for your continued support. I hope to see you at Opening Weekend on September 24 & 25, when live music returns to Jacoby Symphony Hall.
