UPDATE —  Due to an illness, Gala artist Susan Graham will be unable to perform at Saturday’s Gala concert. In her place, internationally known mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves will take the stage with Music Director Courtney Lewis and the Jacksonville Symphony. All previously published times will remain the same.

Denyce Graves
Recognized worldwide as one of today’s most exciting vocal stars, Denyce Graves continues to garner unparalleled acclaim in performance around the world. USA Today identifies her as “an operatic superstar of the 21st century,” and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution exclaims, “If the human voice has the power to move you, you will be touched by Denyce Graves.”

She is a familiar face at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and at major international venues such as The Paris Opera, Royal Opera House and Washington National Opera. Acclaimed as the Carmen of her generation, Graves will sing music by Gershwin, Ravel, Bizet and more. The 2020 Symphony Gala is the party to be seen at in Jacksonville.
