Quincy Erickson

Erickson graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University in 2023. During his studies, he began as a regular member with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before leaving to play 2nd Trumpet with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for six months in 2024. Afterwards, he served as Acting 2nd Trumpet with the National Symphony Orchestra for their 2024/25 Season. He has played and recorded with the Philadelphia Orchestra and has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. 

Erickson also spent two summers at the Tanglewood Music Center (2023-2024) along with two at the Aspen Music Festival and School (2021-2022). His primary teachers were the notable Thomas Rolfs, David Bilger and Michael Sachs.
