What do you want patrons of the Symphony to know about you?
I am passionate about music education. I started the violin in a public school program and believe that music is essential in a young person’s early education. I am a violin teacher in the Jump Start Strings program which is a wonderful program that the Symphony has started for children. In addition, I love chamber music and am privileged to play with the Florida Chamber Music Project, which performs regularly in Ponte Vedra.

What would you be doing if you weren’t a professional musician?
Music is such an integral part of my life it is hard to imagine living without it.

What do you do in your spare time (other than practice!)?
Anything outdoors. I love the recreational opportunities that North Florida has to offer: bicycling and fishing are my favorites.

What is your favorite thing about being a professional musician?
Music is the universal language. I enjoy communicating with people without using words.

What sport(s) do you participate in?
Swimming, bicycling and fishing.

Do you have a favorite team?
JAGUARS!

What is your favorite food?
I enjoy spicy Cajun cuisine from New Orleans.

Bach.
