Clinton Dewing and his wife, Aurelia Duca, both play the violin for the Jacksonville Symphony.

What do you want patrons of the Symphony to know about you?
I’ve been playing the violin for 35 years!

What would you be doing if you weren’t a professional musician?
If I didn’t become a musician I probably would have tried the acting thing.

What do you do in your spare time?
My wife and I have a 2-year-old daughter. I don’t know what spare time is. 🙂

What is your favorite thing about being a professional musician?
Being a musician has allowed me to travel around the world. That’s how I met my wife, in Holland.

What sport(s) do you participate in?
Ping pong before we had a child.

Do you have a favorite team?
Boston Red Sox.

What is your favorite food?
Korean food.

Who is your favorite composer?
Handel

What are you currently listening to?
A ton of baroque music and little bit of hip hop.
