When you make a gift of stock, please also notify the Jacksonville Symphony at 904.354.1473 or [email protected], as your stock information does not arrive with the proceeds from the sale of stock.
Designating the Symphony to be a beneficiary of your estate is a simple way to make a big impact on your Symphony. Wording can vary based on your arrangements and a financial advisor can assist you in developing the appropriate specifics. We would be happy to discuss your specific wishes to make sure that any desired restrictions can be accommodated.
Sample bequest language:
“I give and devise (insert dollar amount or % of residue) to the Jacksonville Symphony Association (Tax Identification number 59-6002520), or its successor organization, a nonprofit corporation with principal business address of 300 Water Street, Suite 200, Jacksonville, FL 32202.”
