Farah Alvin has appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning revival of Nine, as well as in Grease!, Saturday Night Fever, The Look of Love and It Shoulda Been You. She has also been featured in special Broadway events including A Christmas Carol and Ruben and Clay’s Christmas Spectacular.

She is widely recognized for her acclaimed Off-Broadway performances, most notably her starring role as Marcy Fitzsimmons in the cult favorite I Love You Because and her Drama Desk-nominated turn as Missy Miller in the original Off-Broadway production of The Marvelous Wonderettes. Other Off-Broadway highlights include Enter Laughing and The Jerusalem Syndrome at the York Theatre, as well as Window Treatment, part of the Inner Voices series of one-person musicals. Audiences can revisit many of these performances through recordings available on streaming platforms and numerous clips online.

Beyond the stage, Alvin has become a vibrant presence in New York’s concert and cabaret scene, appearing at Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, Kaufman Music Center, 92nd Street Y, 54 Below and The Green Room 42, where she curated and performed in her popular 70’s-inspired concert series On Vinyl and B-Side from 2019 through 2023. Nationally and internationally, she has appeared with symphonies across the United States and Canada, including performances with both national symphony orchestras.
