Anthony Murphy

Anthony Murphy is a singer, actor, director and choreographer who has captivated audiences around the world with his soulful and dynamic voice, coupled with his electrifying and joyous performing style. Anthony leaves audiences feeling at home and overjoyed. Born and raised in Florida, he has been a performer on international stages since the age of eighteen when he appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. At Otterbein University Anthony studied directing and choreography and trained vocally under world renowned opera tenor Brian Cheney.

After Otterbein Anthony went on to perform regionally around the U.S. and Off-Broadway. In 2017 he originated the role of the Genie in the Broadway U.S. National Tour of Disney’s ALADDIN: THE MUSICALl. Later he moved to the Australian company of ALADDIN. While in Australia he premiered his sold-out solo cabaret INTRODUCING: ANTHINY MURPHY at the Doo Bop Jazz Bar in Brisbane, AUS.

In addition to performing Anthony has worked as a vocal coach for the past six years. In 2020 he opened his own vocal and performing coaching studio, The Work Studio. He has worked with many professional artists including current clients on Broadway and in Broadway National Tours.
