Plan Your Visit
Welcome to the Jacksonville Symphony! Whether it’s your first or fiftieth time with us, we care about every single person who visits the beautiful Jacoby Symphony Hall. The orchestra rehearses for hours each week, but the magic doesn’t happen until you’re here to enjoy it with us.
The safety of patrons, musicians and staff remains the Symphony’s top priority. Based on CDC guidelines and the results of the patron survey, the Symphony has developed a comprehensive list of safety protocols that will be in place during the 2021/22 season.

The Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts is within easy walking distance of several convenient parking locations. Directly across Water Street is an open-air parking lot that is ideal for Symphony patrons. The cross-walk from the lot to the building entrance is manned by Jacksonville police before and after concerts to ensure your comfort and safety crossing the street. Enclosed Parking Garages are located directly behind the open-air lot with an entrance on Pearl Street and one block away on Hogan Street. Both are manned before and after concerts and are easy walking distance to the Times-Union Center.

Please budget extra time when planning your Symphony experience. ASM Global, the managing company of the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts, has increased security protocols for those entering the building. All patrons entering the Times-Union Center carrying bags will need to have their bags checked at the tables set up outside the building. Wanding/metal detectors will be included in the entry bag check when events in the Moran Theater require additional security measures. Thank you for your cooperation.
