First Coast Nutcracker

Enter the magical world of childlike imagination and experience Tchaikovsky’s ballet with the First Coast Nutcracker. A family tradition in Northeast Florida for over 40 years, this timeless masterpiece comes to life with the only performance in Jacksonville with a full, live symphony orchestra.

Handel’s Messiah

“The greatest story ever told…the most majestic music ever conceived.” The Jacksonville Symphony, guest soloists and the more than 100 voices of the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus present music’s most powerful message of faith in THE Messiah of the season.

New Year’s Eve: Rhapsody In Blue Eyes

Tony DeSare and the Symphony bring you the best songs of Sinatra, and Gershwin’s extraordinary Rhapsody in Blue. All followed by the best New Year’s party in town featuring dancing to The Chris Thomas Band, champagne and the best viewing location for the fireworks right outside the door. 

Brahms’ Pastoral Symphony

Love beauty? Need serenity? If yes to both, this concert is a must. Dynamic conductor Matthew Halls returns to the podium in Jacoby Symphony Hall for a program of one gorgeous melody after the next. Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia highlights the Symphony’s lush string sections, Ravel’s Pavane features one of the most captivating French horn solos ever written, and Brahms’ Second Symphony carries the origins of his famous Lullaby. This unforgettable music will live with you for days.

Classic Broadway

Return to the golden age of Broadway. Hear classic Broadway songs from The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, South Pacific, Porgy and Bess, Carousel, and many more. The Symphony and Broadway stars Ashley Brown and Jordan Donica will bring back wonderful memories of the best music from The Great White Way.
