Employment to begin at a mutually agreed upon date, but no later than September 7, 2027.

All rounds will take place behind a screen.

In order to secure an audition time, fill out the form below and submit a deposit of $100 to the Jacksonville Symphony by September 25, 2026. Audition times will be assigned upon receipt of resume and deposit.

Audition

Please arrive at Jacoby Symphony Hall 60 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time to check in and obtain a warm-up room.

Enter the building, located at 300 Water Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202 via the Main Entrance on Water Street. Your prompt arrival is greatly appreciated as we will do our best to stay on schedule.

Please note, the Jacksonville Symphony will not be responsible for any travel, hotel, parking or other costs you may incur associated with the audition.

  • 2026/27 Weekly Salary: $1,413.07

Parking
There is metered parking on Pearl Street that takes debit cards. This parking option has a two-hour limit that can be renewed. There is also an open-air parking lot directly across the street from the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts.

Food
Food trucks are set up for lunchtime on Hogan Street (just around the corner from the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts). There are also many other choices within walking distance in Downtown Jacksonville.
