This matinee favorite starts with coffee in the lobby followed by stirring music from a wide variety of select classical and pops concert programs.

Casual fun + symphonic joy
The fun and energetic series you love returns with four more spectacular concerts. Each evening begins with a lively cocktail hour in the lobby, followed by engaging introductions from the conductor. With the addition of multimedia elements and a 60-minute format, this series delivers a unique experience designed to bring you even closer to the artistry on stage.
Symphony in 60 Series performances are on Thursdays at 6:30 pm; Cocktail Hour at 5:30 pm Cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks available for purchase.

Greta Challen Berg was one of the original incorporators of the Jacksonville Symphony Association charter and a life-long arts enthusiast. She spent decades fostering a community in Jacksonville where music could flourish. Her efforts continue to make an impact today as reflected in the Greta Challen Berg Artist Series. The performances chosen for the 2025/26 Greta Challen Berg Artist Series showcase a variety of symphonic genres, creative programming, awe-inspiring talent and a sense of excitement that will captivate you from beginning to end.

Award-winning pianists Alessio Bax, Lucille Chung, Conrad Tao and Joyce Yang join the Symphony for three programs featuring the Jacksonville Symphony’s stunning Steinway concert grand piano. Spanning a colorful spectrum of classical repertoire, this series brings maestros and masters together for a spectacular season of symphonic music.
