Orchestra stays up tempo as it opens 60th season
The current economic crunch hasn’t been easy on the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, but there’s little new about that situation — after all, nonprofit arts organizations don’t often get the chance to roll around in piles of excess cash.
But as the symphony begins its 60th season, its leaders say the group is positioned to keep making music for years to come.
