Rhonda Cassano (Flute)

Education: Florida State University, M.M. performance
Performance experience: Co-Founder of the St. John's Chamber Players, Synergy Ensemble, Director of the St. Mark's Bach Ensemble and Sound Effects (a new series at MOCA featuring "user-friendly" contemporary music). Rhonda performs regularly in a variety of chamber music groups at Cypress Village, Vicar's Landing, the Ponte Vedra Library and in the past performed at Friday Musicale, Beaches Fine Arts and a number of area churces.
Teaching: Rhonda currently teaches flute at the University of North Florida and is a teacher of Body Mapping, a system developed to help musicians perform with efficient, graceful, coordinated and effective movement. At UNF she organized the UNF Faculty Woodwind Quintet, which is now in it's 2nd year. Rhonda teaches privately as well.
