Early musical education: “Both of my parents are musicians, my dad is a french horn player in the Warsaw National Opera and my mom is a pianist and music theory professor at the Chopin Academy of Music is Warsaw so I was surrounded by music from the very beginning. I actually started music by singing for a few years, coached by my mom, and I was appearing regularly on children shows on Polish TV and winning singing competitions for children. Before I started school at age seven my parents took me to different teachers and let me try different instruments and asked me which one I liked the most. I picked the violin.

I like watching movies and listen to a lot of music, mostly classical, contemporary classical and jazz. I really enjoy discovering new music by contemporary composers and it makes me very happy to see that there is so much new, wonderful music being written today.”

Other interests: “I also enjoy walking on the beach, swimming in the ocean and biking. I also enjoy cooking, especially trying new dishes. I just moved to Jacksonville recently so I’m happy to discover and explore this new city!”
