Having performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Grand Rapids Symphony, Hunter Eberly completed studies at The Colburn School in Los Angeles where he earned a Professional Studies Certificate and studied with James Wilt of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Also in Los Angeles, Hunter was co-principal trumpet of the American Youth Symphony, one of the nation’s leading youth training orchestras. A native of Muskegon, Mich., Hunter attended nearby Grand Valley State University where he studied with Richard Stoelzel. Other teachers include Bill Lucas of the Detroit Symphony and Charley Lea of the Grand Rapids Symphony.
Hunter enjoys being in the outdoors and is an avid fisherman.
