Colin Kiely (Viola)

Hometown: Chicago
Education: Bachelor’s in Music Performance from the University of Southern California (1993). Following graduation, Colin was recruited by the New World Symphony of Miami Beach and later earned the position of co-principal viola.
Musical training: While growing up in Chicago, Colin participated in several of the area’s youth orchestras. During high school, he earned the co-principal violist chair with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony.
Teaching and home life: Colin enjoys teaching violin/viola and spending time with his wife, Amy and two daughters, Emma Jane and Caroline.
