Jacksonville Symphony Student Education Concerts

Leading many of the educational concerts is Associate Conductor Morihiko Nakahara. Acclaimed as a versatile artist and a passionate believer in music education for all ages, Mr. Nakahara is known for his charismatic presence on and off the podium, and innovative, audience-friendly programming skills. These concerts are offered in partnership with Duval County Schools, and are sponsored by the Weaver Family Foundation and in part by the State of Florida. Parents, home schoolers and private schools can also participate, as space is available.
