Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony
BRASS Memorial Day Community Concert
Friday, May 28, 2010

Once again the TPC has graciously offered their beautiful grounds as the perfect venue for this patriotic Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra outdoor concert.
The contributions of BRASS members and friends make it possible to bring this free event to our beaches community.
Join our "orchestrated" fund raising effort and make your donation as a Beaches Orchestra of Community Concert Supporters.

BRASS kicked off its inaugural Jacksonville Symphony River Classic 4-Mile Run/Walk and Kids Mile Championship fundraiser on the beautiful evening of Sunday, April 18th. This hugely successful event, under the direction of BRASS board member Jim McGuffin, featured JSO musicians participating and playing live music along the course to the delight of over 500 runners. Mark your calendar for next year's race on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Thanks to the sponsors who made it possible: The Law Offices of Kelli J. Bynum, Heekin Orthopedic Specialists, Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, Shamrock Trading, Bold City Brewery, Jim McGuffin, and Todd Russell.
If you live or work at the Beaches and love the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, you should be a member of BRASS!
BRASS, Beache s Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony, is the official Beaches-based fan club and support organization of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. We get together for social events, including private JSO concerts, raise funds for the orchestra for expenses such as new instruments, facilitate music education among Beaches youth, and promote the appreciation and performance of fine music at the Beaches. Email us at BRASSmembership@jaxsymphony.org or call Bill Johnson, Jr. at 273-3891 to ask about the benefits of joining BRASS.
