Music, Mix and Mingle

Discover a new way of concert-going at Friday Fusion, an intimate and informal concert experience with food and socializing, followed by a delightful program with conversation from the stage. Afterwards, audience and musicians gather in a relaxed atmosphere with light jazz.

On January 29, Join the JSO and clarinetist Peter Wright for a night showcasing the crème de la crème of French music, highlighting romantic and mystical works from composers Milhaud, Ravel and Gounod, along with Wright’s performance of Bozza’s Clarinet Concerto. And because no French musical showcase would be complete without it, you’ll hear a suite from Bizet’s Carmen.

Enjoy light Frech cuisine before the concert (additional charge) and mingle with audience and musicians after the concert.

Art Walk Preview

Art Walk with the Symphony continues on Wednesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium with a solo performance by JSO Principal Clarinetist Peter Wright. Peter will give a short preview of Bozza’s Clarinet Concerto, accompanied by Ileana Fernandez, JSO principal keyboardist. The piece is featured on the January 29 “French Fusion” concert.
