The advanced ensembles of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Tallahassee Youth Orchestras come together for the first Florida Youth Orchestra Festival here in Jacksonville. They'll share a weekend of music, masterclasses, fun and camaraderie as they rehearse to present a combined Festival Concert for the community. Admission is free and open to all!
Both youth orchestra programs will be sending their top ensembles to join forces in a program that features performances by each orchestra individually as well as a presentation by a combined 120 young musicians of the Tallahassee and Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras under the direction of Maestros Alexander Jiménez and Scott Gregg.
