Associate Conductor Nathan Aspinall takes the podium to lead a program featuring Mendelssohn’s Symphony. No. 3. Inspired by the romantic landscapes of Holrood Palace in Edinburgh, “…where Queen Mary lived and loved…” the work later became better known as the "Scottish" Symphony. Principal Oboe Eric Olson takes center-stage in Vaughan Williams Oboe Concerto.
